Need for Continued Education
Some writers like to make an argument for their need to continue their education and broadly justify the choice of pursuing a graduate degree. This is not required but depending on your motivation for pursuing a graduate degree, it could be helpful to articulate. Some examples of this might be the value of gaining advanced educational or professional experience or the realization of the need to pursue a graduate degree, often because of past experiences.
A master’s degree would give me the tools to work for a company and develop new approaches for improving the ability of machines to perceive our environment.
