Review Statement
Methods of Teaching Early Literacy was produced with support from the Iowa State University Digital Press. In addition to production support from Iowa State University’s Open Education lead, Abbey K. Elder, this book also underwent a peer review and editing process.
Peer reviews for this book were provided by subject matter experts and structured around considerations related to the text’s usefulness as a teaching resource. Reviewers provided feedback based on a rubric adapted from the Open Textbook Library’s Review Rubric, rating the text on various aspects of its organization and content. Comments from peer reviewers were used to guide edits and additions to the book’s content, which were incorporated by the lead authors prior to publication.
