Falsification and Fabrication
A student falsifying or fabricating information related to their academic work constitutes a violation of University policy. Examples of this type of violation might include copying a bibliography from an outside source for your own paper, citing fictitious resources, falsely recording attendance points or engagement in course related activities such as documented internship hours or observations you did not complete, asking a peer to complete attendance points or share an attendance code when absent, or paying another person or website to write a paper.
