Night is Passing

Tell me, friend,
do you see the Spirit Bear
carrying my Father away
on the horns of his Sprouting Moon?

Where are they going now?
Out to find the fragrant path
in the far woods?
Or beyond to meet the Spotted Eagle
way up high?
