Formulation will be the first section of the course and product development process. During this period, your team will be responsible for testing to determine a gold standard formula for your new food product concept, determining consumer expectations, and evaluating your product through consumer and instrumental testing. At the end of this section, your team will have a standard product that will be able to be converted into a processable formula.
