2.1 Pitch, Clefs, and Intervals: Sight Singing exercises

Step 1) Choose a starting pitch and sing a half-step up and back down, then sing a whole-step up and back down. Be sure to check your notes on a piano each time after you sing them.

Step 2) For each of the given three-note step up/down melodic patterns, use a piano or other instrument to provide a starting pitch, then sing each three-note pattern, keeping in mind whether the interval is a whole step or half step, depending on the clef and key signature.
