5.3 Lead Sheet Notation: Aural Training exercises
Step 1) Listen to the string of ten chords, consisting of either major or minor triads or major-minor 7th chords in various inversions, each played up and down from the bass note given on the staff below (i.e. the given note is the starting pitch, not necessarily the root of the chord) pitch. Each is played twice. Sing along with each the second time it is played.
Step 2) Label the quality and inversion of each chord using lead-sheet notation.
